Meh Monday
This was not how I expected to spend the next 14 days. The cone of shame is the result of my little procedure on Friday. I will say, this cute little accessory is much better than that big ol' plastic thing. Now THAT was a disaster! I'm okay, this is just the aftermath of being subjected to the ol' snip-snip. Yep, they took my manhood away. But that's okay. I'm a responsible pup. And I'm still a cutie. And I'm being treated like a king. But that's not unusual. I'm getting extra treats and snuggles, since I can't romp with Braeden and Seth. It's all good. Don't I look good in teal?

OMD OMD we are SO sorry that there are complications from your BobbleEctomy... Butt you do look rather MANLEY with that... DEVICE... like a HAWT BEACH Life GUARD ready to save a Pretty Swimmer in distress...
ReplyDeleteSending you POTP and Crossed Paws in hopes that you are all healed up Speedy quick.
Oh gosh! Not complications! I'm healing nicely! I just have to wear the ruff for 14 days to make sure I don't pull anything out. I'm really giving Mom a run for her money. She may have even more gray hairs after this is over. She says the words "Riley" and "calm" are mutually exclusive. Thanks for the POTP, guys! A guy can never have too much POTP! I only have 11 days to go….
ReplyDeleteWaggies,
Riley
That is much better than the plastic thingy. Dui breezed through his bobblectomy. SHE even took out the stitches. Just be sure your mum baths the wound with salt water a few time.
ReplyDeleteWe think Dui was probably done too early...he has a high bark...BOL!
I agree! That plastic thingy was a disaster. I've done quite well, I just can't be calm. I'm a puppy! What do they expect? I am impressed that your Mom took out your stitches. Mine dissolve, so no worries there. I don't think She has the stomach for that anyway BOL. If my bark gets any higher I'll have to join Easy as a falsetto in the choir!
DeleteWaggies,
Riley
I am going to have to dig up the picture of my first dog in a cone of shame that I made more shameful:)
ReplyDeleteYou look good and will soon have forgotten all about those missing parts.
I would like that. Will you share it with me to lessen my humiliation? I guess I should be grateful that the color goes with my furs!
DeleteWaggies,
Riley
Well, get in good shape Riley, Me and you gots lots of Police Activities coming up!
ReplyDeleteTop Cop Bites
Yes, sir TC Bites! I will be ready to go. I hope I don't run like a girl BOL
DeleteThe 11 days will fly by for you, your peep may have problems.
ReplyDeletePOTP for fast healing.
Bentley
She does. I have too much energy to be cooped up. I'm really paying her back for having what was mine taken away. Thanks for the POTP and for stopping by, Bentley!
DeleteWaggies,
Riley
That's a fancy cone of shame you got there buddy. Sorry about you loosing your family jewels for some reasons the peeps aren't interested in us keeping them.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
She said it was required by the rescue group. Phhhttt. I don't believe that for one second. They were very good to me. But hey, I do kinda rock the cone, eh?
ReplyDeleteWaggies,
Riley
Yeah, you look good. We wouldn't even have noticed until you pointed it out!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Thanks guys! She's started calling me "Shakespeare" BOL
DeleteWaggies,
Riley
The inflatable isn't as objectionable. If you have to wear a cone, it's much better.
ReplyDeleteI had dat kind before... now I has da Comfy Cone... both of dose kinds are good, really comfy fur nappin' in and such...
ReplyDeleteAaaah the dreaded "snip-snip", we remember it well. That is one hip 'n happening cone of shame, you are totally rocking it!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon,
Wally & Sammy
Looks like ya got a built-in pillow. Not nearly as bad as da plastic cone I had to wear.
ReplyDeleteI finks you look very handsome in your ruff, a bit like an Elizabethan Gentleman, very cool!
ReplyDeleteLoves and licky kisses
Princess Leah xxx
Teal does suit you, Riley, but we actually would prefer to see you without the plastic. We're sending you lots of healing vibes and AireZen to get well quickly!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly
Oh dear - we hope you heal up quick and can lose the donut of shame! (although you are right - it's much better than the old fashioned cone of shame!)
ReplyDeleteEdgar and his mum
Oh man, I remember when Mom had the vet take my boy bits away...not fun. Mom says that cone is kinda cute though, MUCH better then the plastic thingie I had to wear....and yes, Teal definiatlly looks to be your color! Quick healing, buddy, so that cone (cute or not!) can come off quick!
ReplyDeleteYou are looking awesome! We had a cloth cone for Monty just recently (different surgery) and it was terrible! It kept collapsing around his head and he wouldn't know what to do. We'll have to try one of those next time.
ReplyDeleteMonty and Harlow
We are glad everything went ok. Now just tell every buddy it's a neck warmer
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Oh dude!!!!! Sorry abouts the snip-snip, butts you look FABulous in that cone! Yeah, I don't thinks the plastic cone-o-shame looks good one ANY pups! I thinks that is much more fashion forward. Nows, don't forgets to milk it for all it's worth, and always give the big puppy eyes when you wants the extra treaties...oh, and the terrier-head-tilt is always a winner!
ReplyDeleteSendin' healin' vibes and lots of POTP!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Well we are proud that you are a responsible doggy! You rock that blue cone Riley!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Mom's making sure you are cared for and you look SO handsome in teal.
