Hey Blogville!

Aroooo everyone! We finally managed to get Her off her tail and at least let everyone know we are still around. We've been busy helping Mom with the yard and the house after the much needed, but not that much, rain! Now it's just H-O-T and the ground is already beginning to crack. Gotta love Texas weather!

We're all doing pretty well. Riley has made some progress with his allergies. He's on a limited ingredient diet and taking fish oil supplements and surviving water torture once a week. The fur on his legs is beginning to grow in, but he still chews occasionally. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and well wishes. About the time Riley had the allergy stuff going on testing started at school and things just seemed to pile up. She apologizes for not responding to everyone, but wants you to know that we read every comment and suggestion and you guys were very helpful!

We're just gonna post a few pics. No big news (that's good, right?) Thinking of all of you!

Seth had great fun digging up the yard. This is one of many holes he managed to accomplished. He did have a goal…get the moles. Mom isn't sure who is doing more damage. I vote Seth.

Chocolate dipped Scottie!

Then the yard work began…this is us, ummm, helping. Yeah, that's it!

Braeden snoopervising as usual. Seth searching for more moles. So far he has yet to catch one. And the yard work continues. This week we planted 17 yards of grass. New shrubs and flowers are on the horizon!

And finally….duckies! A very uncommon sight!

Happy Thursday!

Waggies,
Braeden, Seth and Riley

P.S. Don't tell anyone, but we snuck out and took the Blogville firetruck for a spin. What a ride!

  1. HELLO!! We're struggling with allergies with one of our foster dogs, and one of our own dogs. Thankfully the one who has it the worst (foster) just saw a dermatologist and he put him on a medication called "Apoquel" which is truly a game changer--Not just for him, but for other dogs too. I'm hoping our girl will get better with the change in diet and a few other things--You've given me hope that it will!!

    1. We hope your allergy problems improve quickly! We finally had to do bloodwork to figure out what was going on. He was only 8 months old, so they ruled out environmental allergies. As it turns out, he's allergic to beef, eggs, flax and sweet potatoes! He's not currently taking any medications, so that's a relief. If you read our last post (from April) there's some great suggestions on there. It's definitely worth the read! Good luck with the doggies, let us know how they are doing!

  2. Good to hear from you three Arooer's. Glad Riley is doing better. Seth looks like you're keeping mom busy filling in holes and Braeden you look as if you are not impressed with Seth's digging skills at ALL.

    Aroo to you,
    Sully

  4. So Seth....chocolate dipped scottie....BOL! The mud doesn't show up as dramatically as that on us. We think you're doing a great job protecting your family from moles! And Braedon, we hope you're pointing out where Seth should dig next.

  16. Wow a firetruck ride - excellent! Mom is still chuckling at the chocolate dipped Scottie, glad I don't do that so she doesn't have to give me bathes.

Have a wonder Father's Day weekend.

  18. Holes and moles!! One of our favorite things! Dante loves digging for moles, one time he dug a hole almost to China it was so deep! And he came up with a mole!
Mom was a bit freaked out to say the least..
