Seth -1 Trespasser - 0

So, the other night I was outside surveying my kingdom before bedtime. Braeden and I usually scout it out before we are forced to go to bed. Well, Braeden decided to head on in, which left me with the huge responsibility of making sure all was well. Mom heard me barking but didn't come our right away, and lucky for me the patio light was burned out....cuz LOOK what I did!

I deaded my first possum! Mom didn't see him until the next morning, and boy am I glad. She would have made me sleep alone in my crate.

BUT, now that I have a new little brother to watch out for, She can be proud of my hunting abilities and appreciate my Scottish heritage!

I still haven't deaded a squirrel, but I sure tell them who runs the backyard! Maybe one day...

Have a Terrific Tuesday!

Waggies,
Seth the Hunter

  2. I'm still waitin on the squirrel. The possum wasn't much of a challenge...he kinda played dead while I did the shaky-shake BOL

  3. OMD!!! Lookie at THAT!!!! Nice job there Seth!!! I gots me a tree rat once, and a huge rat, butts not a possum! They do hang around here, and my Angel sissy Annie cornered one once, butts Ma ruined her funs and grabbed her by her collar and dragged her in the house before she could have her fun.
I will put this on my 'to do' list!!! BOL
    High Paw!!!

    1. Thanks Ruby! I've been waiting for ages to dead something! Mom had a Cairn Terrier, Rocky, who almost got a HUGE possum one night...they were out on the patio and he came outta nowhere! They ran side by side hissin' and barkin' at each other but the ol' possum got through the gate. Mom was really scared! I'm still workin' on my bucket list, but you can be sure tree rat deadin is at the top!

  4. Hello!!! We followed some crumbs over to your blog, and are so glad we did--I've had fun reading past posts, and especially meeting your new little brother!! We'll look forward to reading about your adventures, and seeing if any squirrels take up your challenge!!

By the way, we have a 3 year old wheaten scottie, and he deaded some bunnies this summer--He'd be envious of your opossum!! :-)

    1. Hello and welcome! We love making new furiends and we're so glad you stopped by! We follow crumbs, too but sometimes we are too shy to post. Usually its Braeden BOL We are impressed you deaded a bunny. We have not seen one of those yet. Only snakes, possums, tree rats and cicadas.

    1. Well...I have to admit it wasn't much of a challenge. He was just a little guy. Mom kinda felt sorry for him. But he was in MY YARD!

    1. That's what she's afraid of cuz it was a baby possum. You can be sure I'm on to the next conquest!

  7. Seth, there's a reason you have Reilly. As far as I can explain and I've had a lot of experience- repeat after me
    "Reilly did it".

    1. I'd like to blame it on Riley, but Mom would know I was lying, cuz he still has PUPPY BREATH! Until that's gone, I think I'll just tell her that Somedoggy from Finley's house did it! BOL

    1. Thanks Edgar! You gotta sneak out while they aren't paying attention. And keep the volume low. And leave it where She can't see it. I left it right off the patio in plain sight. Gotta work on my skills a bit more! And yeah, the light still isn't fixed BOL

    1. Thanks FnE! I was pretty satisfied with my first deading. Unfortunately, She has an aversion to deaded anything, so it went in a plastic bag to destinations unknown. It was surprising She got the flashy beast out.
