Dory's Pawty - The Big Day!

Today is the Big Day - Dory's Pawty! We have been waiting forever! We have been working on our manners because we are taking two of the most pawsome gals in Blogville! We wanted to show them a really great time, but all of the sleighs were rented and we could not get one.  Looks like The Slacker She blew it again. But…enough of that. Look who we are taking to the pawty!

I (Braeden) am taking Finley to the pawty! Isn't she just adorable in her Christmas outfit and antlers? Finley is a real Southern gal and very charming. And what style! She really dresses to impress! I am just beside myself that I get to take such a great gal to the pawty!

I hope you like these yellow roses, Finley! I thought they were perfect because you are a beautiful yellow rose from Texas!

I (Seth) will be attending Dory's pawty with Hailey! I just know we are going to have a pawsome time! I think Hailey is just the cutest pup! And I love those snowman pajamas! I definitely think that blue is her color! I hope I make it in time to pick her up for our date because it's a long way from Texas to Canada! That sleigh and a few reindeer would have come in handy *ahem - Mom* Maybe we will just arrive fashionably late BOL!

Braeden thinks he is the only one who can impress a girl! BOL! Hailey, I picked these red roses out just for you! They are so pretty and I thought they would look great with your blue snowman pajamas!

And we hope you girls don't mind, but She said Riley has to go with us or we can't go to the pawty! HE We promise he will be good and not get into mischief. And since he's on the list with Her, we are sure he will be on his best behavior! Right, Riley?

Yo, Puppy! You better hide that before She sees you, or you won't be going anywhere, cute or not!

Okay, okay. Sheesh. I'm ready to go.  Let's PAWTY!

Hope to see you at Dory's!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

We want to wish everyone in Blogville a Merry, Merry Christmas! We Our assistant has been slacking and has not posted for us, so we gotta catch up!

First, the card count….

Us 47 (33 snail mail & 14 e-cards)
Peeps 1

The "1" was from family, so technically that's ours, too BOL!  Butt, since it is Christmas, we'll let Her count it.

Thank you to everyone for thinking of us!

We had a great time opening our pressies! Mac and Jazzi sent us an some really pawsome gifts!

Everyone takes turns checking it out

Riley did the puppy thing and played with the tape!

Seth claimed the Kong chewie

Everyone had a blast when we had a snowball fight!

Braeden can't wait to dig into the treats!
After much FUN and EXCITEMENT and TREATS it was time to settle down and WAIT…

Riley sleeps with his special stuffie from Mac
Seth snoozes on the sofa
Braeden keeps a watchful eye for Santa Paws

Santa Paws came bright and early. Braeden found our gifts and alerted everyone that the Jolly One had indeed stopped at our house!

We were not sure if we would receive pressies from Santa…SOMEDOGGY had been a bit mischevious and done things like THIS...

and THIS…

OMD She 'bout had a cow! There were no more in the store, and We checked the intermutts…

We were certain that this would put all three of us on the NAUGHTY list!

BUTT Santa Paws couldn't  resist THIS

We are very glad he is cute. And that the cute has not worn off. We would be VERY unhappy.

The Slacker Mom was derelict in her photographer duties and did not get pics of us with our Santa Paws gifts, but We had an AWESOME day!

We hope you had an AWESOME, BEAUTIFUL day, too!

Not So Silent - for Ranger

We went to the fur stealers right before Thanksgiving. It's a long drive to the other side of Dallas, about 40 miles, but She likes the way the cut our furs. Anywho, on the way home We saw this sign and told her She HAD to take a picture of it for Ranger! We made sure She was not driving (do stop lights count?). She managed to snap this before the light changed.

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Mischief Monday

This was from our photoshoot on Saturday for our Christmas Cards. You will not see any adorable pictures of Us sitting on this bench and smiling at the camera on our cards.

In this one, we did better, 2/3 of us were facing the right direction. Seth got the giggles and She could not get him to stop. This one will also not be on our holiday card.

She FINALLY gave up. And we did not get a walk afterwards. She said "we could wear out a squirrel." We are not sure what is wrong with that. Isn't that what we are supposed to do?

Thanks Blogville!

It was a little over a year ago that we discovered Blogville. We were quietly searching Scottish Terriers when we came upon Stuart's blog. After reading and following links, we discovered a wonderful place where all pets were welcome. Our first contact was with Stuart, who featured us on Fun Foto Friday. Then we saw a post for the Christmas Card/Gift Exchange. We put our best paws forward and asked Angel Jazzi's mom if we could join in even though we didn't have a blog. She welcomed us and included us on the list. We were hooked. We setup our blog, with LOTS of help, and began sharing our shenanigans. That first year We received over 80 holiday cards! What a BIG deal for two Scotties from Texas!

Since beginning our blog, we have made so many pawsome friends.  From the tips of our ears to the end of our little Scottie tails we thank each of you for making us laugh (usually with tears running down our faces), sharing your stories, POTP, helping Her with technical difficulties (and there have been many), recipes that we are sure She will make, parties, margaritas, popes, pirates, dingoes, roos, zombies, bat dogs, reassurance,  tree rat catching advice, encouragement, reading our blog and commenting on our posts, and  putting up with our erratic posting.

Thank you, Blogville, for being a place where everyone is welcome and borders don't exist. For allowing us to be part of your lives. But mostly, as SWTS would say, Thank you for being a friend!

We wish you all a most Wondrous Holiday Season with time to stop and sniff the trees, take a walk with the Peeps, and leave some heartfelt peemail for the next pup who might just tell their Peeps what a great place Blogville is.

Happy Thanksgiving, Blogville!

Braeden, Seth, Riley and the Peeps

"Ummm...where's the turkey?"
"Quiet Seth, this is NOT about your stomach!"
"But Braaeeeden, She LOCKED the food bin!"
"Oh my dog, quit whining."

And so it goes…...

Seth vs The Food Bin - The Sequel

During the summer She left the lid open on the food bin and my human sis caught me. For those of you who remember the humiliating video and the resulting edict, here's an update. This weekend She closed the lid, but did not latch it. It didn't take me long to get my snooter under the lid and dive in! Once again, I was caught with my snoot in the cookie jar. Now the lid is not just closed, it's locked up tight!

I'm starving over here! Can't a guy get a decent snack once in a while?

Road Trip!

Last weekend I got to go on a road trip to see my human sis in College Station. I was really excited because her roommate is owned by an adorable Springer Spaniel puppy named Zena.  We had lots of fun playing and doing zoomies all over the house!  Here we are sharing a bone!

Mom says I'm a great traveler, and I only had to stop and leave peemail at the rest stop once! I can't wait to go visit again. I had a great time!

Happy Howloween!

We hope everyone is having a FURTASTIC Howloween! We missed the big Howloween Pawty at Dory's because we could not be "civilized" Scotties and hold still for the flashy beast. Riley managed to wiggle out of his costume 3 times before She had Braeden and Seth dressed for the first time. Braeden hates costumes so he immediately begins sulking. Surprisingly, Seth had no problem with his costume. Mom tried to get pictures of us, but we were having none of it…Here's the proof.

Braeden is the turtle hiding on the bottom of the pile. Riley is jumping on Braeden, and Seth, well, he's just being Seth.

Riley decided he had a better vantage point if he stood on top of Braeden. He may or may not have been pulling Braeden's beard…

Fleeing the scene

It's a big BOO(hoo)FEST around here tonight. Our tricks did not earn us treats.

If anyone would like a gently used (20 minutes of wear) Howloween costume in time for next year, leave us a comment and we'll put your name in the drawing. We have one Large Turtle costume, one Large Lion costume and one Small Bat costume!

Have a Happy Howloween Ya'll!

Silent Sunday, Mischief Monday and Terrific reverse

It rained, which was terrific because we really needed the rain. And I got into some mischief, which was even better! BUT the picture says it all.....I have NO words for the injustice I have endured.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, efurrybody!

Mischief Monday

Hi Evfurrybuddy! Riley here. It's Mischief Monday, and I'm showing my Scottietude. I'm having lots of fun and finding all kinds of mischief to get into around here!

Pees...I'm supposed to let you know that the blow dryer was NOT plugged in, and it escaped with only a few minor cracks when it fell to the floor. BOL

Hope you're having a marvelous Monday with lots of Mischief!

Seth -1 Trespasser - 0

So, the other night I was outside surveying my kingdom before bedtime. Braeden and I usually scout it out before we are forced to go to bed. Well, Braeden decided to head on in, which left me with the huge responsibility of making sure all was well. Mom heard me barking but didn't come our right away, and lucky for me the patio light was burned out....cuz LOOK what I did!

I deaded my first possum! Mom didn't see him until the next morning, and boy am I glad. She would have made me sleep alone in my crate.

BUT, now that I have a new little brother to watch out for, She can be proud of my hunting abilities and appreciate my Scottish heritage!

I still haven't deaded a squirrel, but I sure tell them who runs the backyard! Maybe one day...

Have a Terrific Tuesday!

Shenanigans v 3.0 Meet Riley!

It's been a busy week around here! This is our new Scottie brother, Riley! He's 10 weeks old and a bundle of furry fun!

Riley is a rescue puppy and we are so furry excited to add him to our clan! We think he is a pretty cool pup, and already fits right in!

Taking tree rat stalking lessons from Seth!

Talking to Braeden about his nifty collar!

Surveying the back yard

And destuffing the stuffies!

It was a great weekend! Have a Marvelous Monday everyone!

While Mom was out watering the yard, I snuck back inside (with my very muddy paws) to find She had left the lid up on the food bin. Being the smart one in the family, I figured I had enough time to grab a little snack on the go. What I DIDN'T plan on was getting caught. MY hooman sisfur isn't an Aggie for nothing! She captured me on video and I was BUSTED!

That's the TRAITOR laughing at Me! Now the lid on the food bin is closed. Always.

Oh, and if you happen to know how to get those unwanted video suggestions that pop up after mine has played, we would love to know how to get rid of them!

We are Blogville: Braeden and Seth

We're Braeden and Seth, and we are Blogville! We are Scotties who live in Texas, about 10 minutes from Fort Worth.
